To register, first download our NeuroNation MED app from the Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore. Now you will be asked to redeem your code, which you received from your health insurance company. To do this, enter your code in the field provided and click on the "Redeem code" button in the middle.
After that, create a profile with your email address and a password. An e-mail will be sent to you to confirm your registration, in which there is a link. When you click on it, you confirm the registration. After that, you can open the app again and follow the displayed instructions step by step.
Now you complete a placement test and can then start your personalised training.

Your doctor or psychotherapist can prescribe NeuroNation MED for you. Alternatively, you can ask for a doctor's letter with proof of your diagnosis. If you already have proof of your diagnosis, you can also send your request directly to the health insurance company. NeuroNation MED is currently only reimbursed for mild cognitive disorders (ICD-10 code F06.7).
The diagnosis "mild cognitive impairment (F06.7)" is given to patients with difficulties in memory, learning and concentration. In addition, there may be fatigue and subjective effort when trying to learn or concentrate. The diagnosis is intended to be given together with a physical illness. These include, in particular, diseases of the brain (e.g. Alzheimer's in early stages, multiple sclerosis or epilepsy) or diseases that affect the brain (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI) or brain tumor). Likewise, this diagnosis is relevant in the context of long COVID.

Yes. The health insurances cover the costs for NeuroNation MED in full. You do not have to make any advance or co-payments. NeuroNation MED is currently only reimbursed for mild cognitive disorders (ICD-10 code F06.7).

NeuroNation MED offers various features consisting of individual sessions with specially compiled exercises that fit the person's individual strengths and weaknesses. In addition, there is the possibility of individual selection from 23 exercises, divided into four higher-level cognitive domains. A regular general evaluation takes place after successful completion of the session, for one's own control, but also to adjust subsequent sessions.
Cognitive training is recommended for neurological disorders with impairment of memory, attention or executive functions. It is recommended by the German Society of Neurology and the Society of Neuropsychology in their public guidelines.

The term "DiGA" stands for "Digital Health Application". NeuroNation MED is a CE-marked medical device of class 1. The main function is to support the alleviation and treatment of diseases or the alleviation, treatment or compensation of injuries or disabilities through digital technologies. A DiGA is therefore a "digital assistant" in the hands of the patient.

The diagnosis "mild cognitive impairment (F06.7)" is given to patients whose symptoms are characterized by memory impairment, learning difficulties and concentration problems. In addition, there may be perceived mental fatigue as well as subjective effort during successful learning. The diagnosis is intended to be given in the context of a physical illness and may be given before, during, or after a variety of cerebral or systemic infections or other physical illnesses. To use NeuroNation MED, a functional smartphone or tablet PC with internet access is required.
The NeuroNation MED app can be used with all smartphones/tablets that have the operating systems iOS 11.0 or higher or Android 5.0 or higher.

NeuroNation MED is a mobile application based on playful training of various cognitive functions (Multi-Domain Cognitive Training). For training these skills, a wide variety of exercises are available within the application. These can be selected individually or compiled within a personalised training unit.
The NeuroNation MED application is a class 1 medical device according to the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 93/42/EEC and the Medical Devices Act.
NeuroNation MED cannot be used to diagnose a disease. Potentially dangerous causes of disease cannot be excluded and the application does not replace medical advice.

In addition, there is the option of individual selection from 23 exercises, divided into the four higher-level cognitive domains. A regular general evaluation takes place after the successful completion of the sessions, for one's own control, but also to adjust the following sessions.

The term "DiGA" stands for "Digital Health Application". NeuroNation MED is a CE-marked Class I medical device. Its main function is to assist in the alleviation and treatment of disease or the alleviation, treatment or compensation of injury or disability through digital technologies. A DiGA is therefore a "digital assistant" in the hands of the patient.
Psychotherapists and doctors can prescribe NeuroNation MED by prescription. The costs are covered by the statutory health insurance funds in Germany.

Your patient submits the prescription/diagnosis certificate to their respective health insurance company. This can be done online, via the health insurance app, by mail or by phone.

Yes. NeuroNation MED creates statistical evaluations of the exercise progress, which can be exported as files via the app settings. The files contain tables in the form of HTML files, which can be displayed via any modern browser.
